Abhorrent, Unfair Killing of Wolves Worth Boycotting; I'm Canceling
Letters
to the Editor / Anchorage Daily News / February 6, 2004
I
certainly support the boycott of Alaska tourism and have canceled
my plans to visit in May. This abhorrent, unfair method of
killing wolves is a thinly disguised ploy to allow hunters
to shoot wolves in order to kill even bigger animals. There
is nothing sporting about forcing wolves to use their wits
and their powerful bodies in a fruitless attempt to avoid
being destroyed by men with an inhumane and unfair advantage:
shooting from airplanes.
